Could not obtain the list of SASL mechanisms.

Hi,

I have setup Subversion and TortoiseSVN on a Windows Vista box and a
Windows XP box.

Svnserve --version tells me this:

Copyright (C) 2000-2008 CollabNet.
Subversion is open source software, see http://subversion.tigris.org/
This product includes software developed by CollabNet (http://
www.Collab.Net/).

The following repository back-end (FS) modules are available:

* fs_base : Module for working with a Berkeley DB repository.
* fs_fs : Module for working with a plain file (FSFS) repository.

Cyrus SASL authentication is available.

I have created a repository which I can browse using file:///c:blah...
without any trouble, and I have setup a Windows service running
Svnserve, I have configured the svn.conf file, and the svnserve.conf
file in the repository's conf/ directory, but when I try to browse it
I get "Could not obtain the list of SASL mechanisms." Has anyone seen
this before and know the solution?

Thanks.
