That'll be serf 0.2 then, the last official release.

Really helpful! Now, a couple of hours ago I fixed a bug in serf where
certain headers can get corrupted. I noticed this error during 'svn
export', but the symptoms are different than in your situation so I
doubt it's the same issue.

If you can get more info I'll have a look at it.
