Maybe the bug tracking system should be used more intensivly? I'm sure
that many bugs are lost because they where reported only on a list or
because of the warning in the tracker to contact a list first.

I would also like to get more info to the changelog. A issue number
would allow me to follow the discussion, that's harder for revisions.

Are duplicates really so problematical? Eclipse's one contains hundred
of thousands bugs but my bugs are fixed nevertheless in short time at a
rate of at least 80% (others are probably just lost in the huge amount).

Debian's system has also no big hurdles.
