The issue is quite magic. It also happens on 1.5.0 final with this
reproducer:

[arekm_at_carme-pld ~]$ cat a.pl
use SVN::Core
[arekm_at_carme-pld ~]$ perl a.pl
zsh: segmentation fault perl a.pl

The magicness of this bug is that no one is able to reproduce it on own
platform while on my platform I'm able to reproduce it every time.

Any hints?

I can provide access to test environment if someone is willing to help solve
it.
