Hmm, I don't know how that would be easier, and it is harder to do
programatically. The announcement message links to the same place
which the folder on tigris does. The script which generates the
announcements is in the repository though; you're welcome to submit
a patch for it.

It *is* sorting them in lexicographical order, which seems to be
pretty standard. Agreed that the files are hard to find, but a
search on the page should locate them.

Also, in the future please don't reply to users@ and announce@
with issues like this. dev@ should be sufficient.
