That's great. Please go ahead and commit. It's probably best to commit
testcase.patch first.

The log message for checkout_test-7-fix would be slightly better if its initial
summary lines included something like "Fix a problem that could cause a
checkout to fail, leaving broken data in the WC. This is now detected in
checkout_tests-7."
