Well, of course anything you want to do locally is fine -- but wouldn't
it be better to have a branch in the main repository, so people can
review as you go?

To get a branch, just send your tigris.org username and an
htpasswd-crypted password to svnadmin{AT}svn.collab.net. (If you don't
provide a password, a temporary one will be chosen for you; either way,
you can change it yourself later at <https://svn.collab.net/wpct/>.)
