Yes, always; it does exactly the opposite of what we promise about "svn
diff" and all other commands with non-URL parameters. It's also somewhat
redundant now that (as I understand it) we have shorthand syntax for URLs.

The only one that seems a bit dodgy to me is (3); I can't understand why
the result of a /merge/, rather than copy, from another branch would
show up like this.
