Since you asked me to fix this problem for you, let me just say that I use svn at work because I must, even though our repository works better with git. Writing an email seconding a problem with some thoughts on how it could be fixed and, for other people with the same problem, how I worked around it is one thing. Fixing some software I don't even like is not something I would even consider.
