I also like that as a mission statement - but I would like to add one
more item:

-- The ability to centralize control/manage client configuration and
   behaviors such as the autoprops, security behaviors (saving passwords,
   SSL certificate handling, commit note templates, etc)

For corporate environments, the need to manage the endpoints is currently
a problem. With 100+ desktops using Subversion, and over 50% of those not
"developers" but the rest of the company (customer support, QA, etc) and
using Subversion as the centralized corporate document control system
(which is, basically what version control is - document control in the
electronic age)

I know we keep talking about developers (and I am very much one of those)
but a major feature/benefit of the simple concept and the good integration
into Windows Explorer is document version control with relatively strong
audit trails (and authorization and secure remote access, etc)
