Back to pick up the soc project I applied -- "deselection interface of sparse-directories"

Hi all,

I'm back to continue my investigation into "deselection interface of
sparse-directories" after a short break.
I applied for the soc project as soon as the student application period
opens. Then I turned to focus on my paper, trying to catch the conference
deadline. And now I'm done with it and come back to continue.

I expected to have received some kinds of response (either comment or mail)
when I came back. I'm perturbed and wonder. Did somebody review my proposal?
What did he/she think about it? Was it "hmmm, it looks good :)" or just
"Grrr, how terrible! :("? I want to get some feedbacks from who is in
charge, in a way he/she thinks appropriate. I can make it better if it is
necessary, since there is still some time left before the application
closes.

Nevertheless, I'm starting to do some experiments to learn more about the
implementation of sparse-directories. I'll come with some more specific
questions next time. :-)

PS: I'm wondering who will be my potential mentor. Will he be Karl? I find
him proposed the idea and contributed to most of the implementation.
G.R.
