Digging a little further, I find the following logged in the server
error log. Does anyone know what this means?

[Mon Mar 10 18:54:01 2008] [error] [client xx.xx.xx.xx] (2)No such file
or directory: <DAV:cannot-modify-checked-in-parent> [409, #0]
