It's not, but neither Nik Clayton nor I have had any time to work on it. In the
relatively near future, I'm going to delete the branch and rebase it off of
trunk, then reapply Nik's changes (the branch has drifted way too far off to
just merge).

There were some patches that got merged to trunk long before 1.5.0 branched that
at least improved the coverage of exported methods, so 1.5.0 is already better
than 1.4.6 in that regard. But a more complete redesign is still in order
(which is what Nik started)...
