[I'm posting this to dev@ in case anyone else working on
merge-tracking wants to attend.]
David Glasser came over to my place today and we had some really
high-bandwidth discussions about merge-tracking, issue #2897, log -g,
etc. We both thought it would be very useful if we could do it again
Tuesday or Wednesday this coming week, but with Dan Rall too (and
other developers who are around).
Obviously, the results of those discussions would be posted here.
It's just a way to do a mind-merge quickly, avoiding the turnaround
time of the list. I was really excited today by some of the things
David was saying, and thought prospects looked pretty good -- but it
would be good to run it all by some other heads, and then post here.
Dan, are you free to do that this Tuesday or Wednesday? Could be in
SF, Oakland, or even at CollabNet (but if CollabNet, then Wednesday
would be slightly better than Tuesday, though can do it either way).
-Karl (and David Glasser, sitting next to me)
