I agree that at the moment it is an implementation detail, and if we
can ship 1.5 without svn_depth_exclude, we should. However, let's
keep an open mind about it: I have a strong hunch that we will need
that depth in the future (for example, in the case you and cmpilato
were talking about where one basically wants to have depth-infinity
but excluding certain subdirs or files).
