I don't think so. An OPTIONS request is about as read-only as you can
get -- it's not even specific to any path within the repository. So
if they were going to prompted at all for the RA session, they'll
still be prompted (a few milliseconds earlier, but no human will
notice), and if they weren't going to be prompted, they still won't
be.

Does this sound right?
