[PATCH] Merge using history option - test case

Hi,

I am attaching a patch along with this mail to implement a test case in
order to test merge using history (-g) option, as described in
http://svn.haxx.se/dev/archive-2007-09/0735.shtml. This is a follow up
to r26827.
