Well if it's any help, the failing svnversion test (number 1) has a
switch that produces:

D svn-test-work/working_copies/svnversion_tests-1/iota
A svn-test-work/working_copies/svnversion_tests-1/iota

instead of:

U svn-test-work/working_copies/svnversion_tests-1/iota

but as far as I can see it's only the feedback that is different, the
working copy state on disk is unchanged.
