If the branch is now stable (not disruptive to the rest of us) and
relatively code-reviewed (presumably by the mentor), then it shouild
be merged to trunk. From there, Charles can submit patches to the
list for review as things get refined... Just like other partial
committers. Does that seem reasonable?
