I have changed the gen-make.py script so that the windows build is
directly generating the *.pyd files. (See attached patch.txt file).

Right -- I thought I manually tweaked the binding dll's and the
setup.py myself so that the installer would work, but maybe not.

Help would be great -- I don't think integrating setup.py into
make_dist.py would be very hard and that would remove at least a
couple of manual steps.

Eventually it'd be nice to build the zips, bindings installers, and
subversion installer all inside make_dist.py, but I'm not sure what's
involved with the subversion installer.
