I don't feel this is worth taking a shortopt for.

I'm not sure how to justify my feeling, beyond just stating it :-).
We're operating on very little data here: we don't know how often
users of the command line client will use '--changelist'. I'd rather
wait until it's been out in the wild for longer, and see what kind of
feedback we get, rather than snatch option namespace in anticipation
of complaints that may turn out to be rare.
