Yes, unfortunately, APR versions before 0.9.7 have a buffer-flushing
bug on buffered files (which FSFS uses). Errors which occur when
flushing the buffer are incorrectly not returned making Subversion
unaware of the situation. The issue is resolved in 0.9.7. You could
mail RedHat and ask them wether they have applied a patch which fixes
the issue. If they did, I'd still be interested in a reproduction
recipe.
