GSoC07 introduction

From: Charles Acknin <charlesacknin_at_gmail.com>

Hello everybody!

I'm glad to see my GSoC proposal got accepted today. In case some of
you are too lazy to browse code.google.com/soc or missed it, I'll be
running the "augmented diff" project mentored by Malcolm.

Officially GSoC kickoff will happen on May 28. But as mentioned in my
proposal schedule, from now on I'll try to get involved as much as
possible with Subversion's community, that is dev@ mailing list, #svn
and #svn-dev. Codebase is close to become my best friend along with
svnbook, design doc, hacker's guide and notes/. BTW, how reliable is
the design document today (r3377 is pretty dusty..) ? Also, is there
a big picture of Subversion and/or svn as suggested in
notes/assurance.txt?

I guess I'll come back soon for further information : )

Thanks to people supporting this proposal!

Charles

ps: just for information I'm living by CEST time, i.e. UTC+2 : )
