[swig/ruby bindings] Adding support for new DEPTH (most APIs) and RECORD_ONLY (merge APIs) parameters

Kouhei, the recent branch merges into Subversion trunk have rev'd
quite a few APIs, adding new DEPTH parameters to many (replacing the
RECURSE flag), and a new RECORD_ONLY parameter to 'merge' operations.

I'd like to add support for these parameters to the SWIG/Ruby
bindings. I have a patch providing an example of how to do this for
diff() in a backwards-compatible fashion, and I'd like your direction
on whether you think this is an appropriate approach. The sample
patch is attached.
