Potential Google Summer of Code 2007 project

Hi all,

I was searching for a suitable project to apply for GSoC 2007, and
looking at the page:
http://subversion.tigris.org/project_tasks.html

I found that the section "Improving the Python bindings" sounds really
interesting.

I successfully finished a Google Summer of Code project last year
(http://code.google.com/soc/2006/psf/appinfo.html?csaid=4F0CD2E3B441030B)
related to matplotlib (http://matplotlib.sf.net).

So far I've been only a user of Subversion, and this would be a great
chance for me to learn a bit about its internals, and to learn to
write "serious" extensions for the Python language.

I would like to ask the potential mentor to contact me privately (or
via the list if it's more appropriate) so we can discuss the details
of the project.

Cheers,
Edin
