Yuck! Being a person whodaily hack inn 80x1 format, I don't exactly
agree that screen space is that cheap.
Apart from that, I've heard of people who find an
80 character limit to be useful for
side-by-side diffs.
So, I don't like it if we move away from 80 characters.
