I really want to see 1.5 too because it has a lot of nice stuff I can use in
Subclipse. That being said, I'd also like to see merge tracking. If
everyone that wants to spend a couple of weeks finishing up features spent
them helping out the merge tracking branch, are we sure we could not get it
wrapped up in another 6 weeks? Wouldn't that be worth it?

I realize adding engineers to a problem usually only makes it worse, but you
all know this code well and it seems like Dan has a good handle on what
needs to be done. There is a lot of good code completed, perhaps with just
some eyes starting the review process, asking some questions, making some
tweaks we could get this wrapped up.

I agree if we are talking another 4 months, then we should do 1.5 now.
