At this point I solved the issue by using tortoise to add the files.
The next time it crashes I'll try and gather as much info as possible.
Being that it's the windows client you never know how much info will be
there.

For us to be of much help, you'd need to provide a stack trace, and
possibly the offending WC and files (for a reproduction recipe).
