Windows client crashes

I am attempting to add a bunch of files with svn add * --force and after
the initial 20 or so files it added (crashed then) it now crashes after
every 2 files without fail. The client is the windows client version
1.4.2 installed using the installer. Btw when I say crashes I mean the
kind where it asks you to send an error report to Microsoft.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
