        Yep, my bad. Apparently Apache's config wasn't
        what it should be (it was tied in with ldap even
        though we don't use ldap for our svn auth, which
        slowed it all down).

        So the speed issue is saner now, but the operation
        is still a pita and illogical (especially for doing
        complex reporting). I guess I'm mostly just
        surprised that such a basic UI feature isn't
        anywhere on the radar. There's one issue about
        it...from 2002...still open and apparently ignored.
        I guess it's time I pull the source myself and get
        hacking as it looks like I'm the only one that
        cares about this.
