I don't believe that we should alter the copyright years for prior
releases (such as 1.4.x). I'm moderately okay with changing it for
new releases (although I think we need to stop putting bogus years in
altogether), but for older releases, I think changing the copyright
year creates too much code churn for zero benefit.
