"The whole world" expects to see merge tracking in 1.5, even if it's
just a replacement for svnmerge.py (and frankly I don't believe it can
be "just" a replacement, otherwise what are all the server-side changes
and caches for?)

So, +1, obviously.

With scripted tests.
By installing a 1.5-alpha on svn.collab.net, and using the tracking
features to branch and finalize 1.5.

How else?
