The core dump doesn't always occur, so it may take a few make check-swig-rb's
for it to fail.
Did you do the build using
dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot
or just a standard configure?
If you can't reproduce it, I could always get you an account on the system.
It's a vmware server with breezy.
