In my opinion we should always create a ticked for an issue in a current
production version, be it:
- as documentation for the next person encountering this issue,
- an easy way to link to this mail thread in the log message or
- preparation of the changelog of the next version.

Anyway, you obviously don't like to spend too much time in our issue
tracker, so I created it for you :)

Reported as issue #2606, if you like you can assign it to yourself.
