The caveat with stock mod_cache is that you ideally want it to also
cache PROPFIND requests - but the caching of the GET responses works
just fine if you use ra_serf. I had some proof-of-concepts patches to
support PROPFIND, but I don't have them any more.

But, svn-mirror plus svnsync would be slightly more in line with other
proxy solutions for SCMs. *shrug* -- justin
