I don't understand what you're getting at. We don't _require_ bdb-4.4
now; we simply support it. In other words, if we release this support in
1.3.2, that's essentially a bug fix (1.3.x currently detects and builds
with bdb-4.4., but doesn't work correctly with it). And anyone who
upgrades from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 isn't forced to upgrade their BDB version,
either. BUt if they do, as a side effect, wedged repositories are gone.
OTOH I don't believe there's enough on trunk now to warrant a 1.4.0
release, and I see no good reason why we should let this code sit in
trunk for several months if we can release is in a few weeks on the
1.3.x line.
