Unless you know otherwise, I expect that a normal Unix-style build of the trunk
will just work. Just get some recent source code (e.g. check out
http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk/) and follow the instructions in the
INSTALL file, section II B. "Building the Latest Source under Unix". If you
have trouble, ask.
