I feel the same about "URL" and other acronyms, but I don't think we're going
to be so strict as to ask all programmers to capitalise all acronyms in their
comments. I feel a good balance is to capitalise them in all public
documentation, including public API doc-strings and literal strings that will
be printed out by Subversion, but don't bother with comments in ".c" files and
private header files. That is how I have behaved in this matter, and I would
accept patches doing that.
