In another thread, I did suggest a
svn:filename.win32 property (or more generically, svn:filename.ntfs -
but presumably it's harder for APR to pass the underlying FS back to
svn). Subversion could then use that filename on win32 platforms, if
specified. Similarly for other types of OS (filesystems).

I've no idea what the implications of this would be for the code,
though.
