Sorry for the long wait on this, but I've had an extremely busy few
weeks and it turned into a bigger mess than I had at first thought.
We have assumed there is only a 'debug' and 'release' configuration in
several places (especially the templates), so I'm going to have to
change a lot more than I had thought.

Is this still a big deal for you? I seem to remember you saying you
had switched to a new build system or something, so maybe it's not
relevant anymore?
