1.3.0 tarballs up for testing/signing

So, other years you'd be kinda preparing for some major partying on 30th
December, right? But doesn't it get you down? Isn't it all a little bit
cliché, has-been, and alltogether not really that much fun? (Whaddya mean "it's
still fun for me" ?!)

Put an end to your yuletide conformism, dare to be different! Instead of
partying the new year in, be cool and test the latest and greatest Subversion
1.3.0 package now, before anyone else!

Subversion 1.3.0 is up for testing and signing. The magic revision is r17947.

Of course, if we want this moment to remain special, exclusive and cool, we
mustn't let many people in on this. Otherwise, there'll be a craze not unlike
the yoyo fashion, the tamagoshi rage or the Slashdot mob, everyone will test the
packages, and instead of being the brave anticonformist über-geeks we'd like to
be, we'll just be more dorks doing the same darn thing as everyone else. We
wouldn't want that now, would we?

So, until the committers have provided me with enough signatures to announce the
*public* availability of Subversion, please play with it amongst yourselves only.

Again, I'd like to appeal to package maintainers: please, please please PLEASE
hold off another 48 hours or so, until we have enough signatures to prove that I
didn't mess up the packaging. That way, you can have the warm fuzzy feeling of
releasing something that has been approved for release, and I won't have to
break out the hand grenades.

Committers, as usual, please post your signatures once you have run the
appropriate tests on these packages.

Merry christmas and all that stuff,
(And if you didn't get any of this again, it means "test, don't distribute, may
contain wombats and don't drink and drive")
- Dave.
