CLEANUP=true leaves diff_tests-28 test directory droppings

I noticed while watching my tmpfs-mounted cmdline tests directory
refreshing in Nautilus (a fun way to see incremental progess while the
test suite runs) that the diff_tests-28 gets left around instead of
cleaned up at the end of its term of usage like other test directories
do. Are others seeing this?
