Yes, this is still true. Max worked on my RHEL3 box for a while but with
no results (that I know about).

If anyone can figure out a way to get it built properly then I'd be glad
to accept patches.

This is ONLY a problem on RHEL3 (so far). All the other builds use the
appropriate BDB.
