Step back from Hadmut's suggestions about how to solve the problem,
and look at what he really wants to do. He wants to use Subversion to
manage his OO files. I know people get a lot of mileage from putting
their documents under version control; if Subversion can't do that
well, I say it's a shame. Maybe it's not our top priority; but that
doesn't turn the weakness into a feature.
