Filter revision

Hi,

We are looking for a version control system in which we can remove older revision to save space (since 50% of the work on the vcs is on data and the other 50 on code but 99% of the size will be taken from the data and we do not need as much history on data than on code).

I saw that there is a svn filter to exclude some file and recreate the fs but can we filter some revision out and keep the top X or keep the last 2 week revision on the data folder?

Thanks guys
