Yeah, "日文" means Japanese in Chinese, but not in Japanese.
In Japanese, "Japanese" is "日本語" ("Nihongo"),
which is concatenation of "日本" ("Nihon", which means "Japan")
and "語" ("go", which means "language"). :-)
