I know Dave knows that.

However, I was advocating on #svn-dev to push aside releases.txt until
he could actually build a tarball - as it turned out, that process was
more complicated than it should have been (well, it always is, isn't
it?).

releases.txt isn't important until you can begin to produce a tarball.
Now that those problems are straightened out, releases.txt becomes more
important. Walk before you crawl and all that. ;-) -- justin
