More on possible problem with Neon 0.25.0 [was Re: 1.3.0 RC1 ready to be rolled]

I've started a new thread on this (so it will be easier to follow).

It occurred to me to compare a working session with the failed session. Other
than the User-Agent: and Date: HTTP headers, the sessions are completely
identical, up until the point where the failed session (Neon 0.25.0) doesn't
perform the next PROPFIND.

Then, I reread the FAQ entry on using Ethereal and set 'http-compression = no'
for the collab.net servers and lo and behold, the Neon 0.25.0-linked Subversion
works fine. Which either means that the SUSE 10 zlib is pooched or that 0.25.0
is having some issue. THe fact that others have no problem with 0.25.0 leads me
to conclude that it is SUSE's problem.

I'm going to get the source file for zlib-1.2.3-3.i586.rpm and rebuild and see
if I cannot fix this. In other words, this is no longer a 1.3.0 blocker unless
someone else can confirm it on their machine. I don't know why 0.25.0 would
have a problem and 0.24.7 would not with the same zlib, but until further
notice, this is a local failure only.
