Thanks, Malcolm. I was really trying to provide some code to illustrate
the problems Apache is having running perl's SVN::Client. If I supply
--config-dir on the 'svn' command line, the problem goes away... I have
had to abandon the perl bindings as too immature to use, since "more
support for config" is on the authors' TODO list. Maybe my boss will
give me a chance to look at the source...!
