ViewCVS's vclib module is very much geared towards the types of
queries that ViewCVS makes of a repository. (Remember, ViewCVS is a
repository browser, not a Subversion client.) In other words, if I
was going to write a good client-side wrapper for our bindings,
ViewCVS's vclib would *absolutely not* be the way to do it.
